Full-Time: Account Manager

 

Job Descriptions:

  • Explain to new customers how specific types of display advertising on our platform will help promote their products or services in the most effective way possible.
  • Service existing local and specific regional accounts.
  • Locate and contact potential clients to offer display advertising services.
  • Provide clients with estimates of the costs of advertising products or services.
  • Obtain and study information about clients' products, needs, problems, advertising history, and business practices to offer effective sales presentations and appropriate product assistance.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations to new and existing customers to sell new advertising programs, and to protect and increase existing advertising.
  • Develop account planning and account management strategy with an attempt to build long term relationships and customer loyalty.
  • Maintain assigned account bases while developing new accounts.
  • Recommend appropriate sizes and formats for display advertising, depending on chosen position.
  • Prepare promotional plans, sales literature, media kits, and sales contracts, using the computer.
  • Consult with company officials, sales departments, and advertising agencies to develop promotional plans.
  • Collaborate with the ad operations support team to ensure projects/proposals are delivered on time and to client’s expectations.
  • Submit a sales activity report on a weekly basis.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in any field
  • Fluency in English language; strong written and verbal communication skills, spoken and written second language is a distinct advantage.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word
  • Strong numeracy and analytical skills
  • Process an analytical mind and have good problem solving skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of Internet especially Internet Media i.e. Online Advertising Trends, Latest advertising technology, etc.

  • Min 1 year of relevant working experience selling Display Advertising.

  • Drive Affiliate Sales for Deal.com.sg & MyDeal.com.my
  • Manage our Loyalty Marketing efforts for both businesses
  • Identify, contact and successfully recruit potential affiliates onto our program
  • Ensure engaging activities and communication that drives consumer loyalty
  • Manage strategy and execution of both programs
  • Collaborate with finance and administration to ensure accurate and timely payout of affiliate commissions

  • Identify Major Brands from a variety of Food Industries.

  • Prioritizes and schedules deal based on deal criteria, deal packaging and demand from the pool of deals approved by the Deal Expert
  • Analyzes deal performance data and predicts consumer buying trends to ensure the delivery of high quality deals
  • Strategically positions and re-positions live deals on a daily/weekly/monthly basis to maximize sales revenue based on thorough analysis of market trends and customer demands
  • Coordinates activities between operations, business intelligence unit and other departments, as required
  • Coordinates workflow processes between client services, sales managers and Production to ensure that deals are completed and delivered in a timely manner
  • Ensures that deals that go online are according to schedule and tracks past, present and future deals in a standardized report
  • Strategically devises the planning and coordination of deals to drive revenue growth and maximize profitability

 

Job Requirements:

  • To assume a leadership role in the development and establishment of MyDEAL Malaysia’s research department, primarily focusing on generating potential merchant leads from both online and offline research
  • To ensure only quality leads that meet all deal packaging criteria are generated and submitted to the sales team for their further action
  • To conceptualize and oversee the development of a variety of models, tools and techniques to oversee data collection, lead generation and to maintain a lead database

Requirements:

Responsibilities:

  • Handling all enquiries and requests of customers by providing help and advice
  • Communicating courteously with customers via phone, email and internet both written and spoken
  • Investigating and resolving the problems in an efficient and professional manner
  • Assessing the situation and determining an appropriate suitable course of action
  • Handling stressful and difficult situations by providing resolution for the customer and the Company
  • Following all Company protocols while dealing with customers
  • Following up with complaints or enquiries of customers, issuing customer refunds or compensation and forwarding customer concerns to upper level management when required
  • Creating and maintaining up-to-date script, which the associates use while responding to customers’ enquiries
  • Ensuring that all client information is precise and supervising the processing of payment

 

Requirements:
